UnionPay QR code payment offers P2P, P2B, and B2B funds receiving and paying as well as value-added services via QR code. It mainly provides solutions for spending, transferring, and cash withdrawal, and has two modes: the Push Mode (purchasers use their mobile App to scan the QR code presented by the merchant to initiate the payment) and the Pull Mode (merchants use QR code reader to scan the QR code in customer’s App to initiate the payment).

Cardholder-Present:

Cardholders present their e-wallet QR Code with a linked UnionPay credit or debit card, for merchants to scan (using our A8/ K9 model devices). Merchants then input the payment amount on the device and scan the cardholder's e-wallet QR code to proceed with payment, as cardholders confirm the payment details on their phone, the payment will be finalized.

Merchant-Present:

Merchants can have a static QR code printed on their cashier for cardholders' easy access or create a QR code for each payment. Merchants can simply type in the payment amount on the devices, and then cardholders open their e-wallet app with a linked UnionPay credit or debit card on their phone to scan the merchant's QR code to proceed and finalized the payment.
